Founded in 1989, it has a strong, well established track record across the retail property sector, delivering performance and capital growth, drawing on the broad range of experience, expertise and market knowledge of its principals and staff.

It has established successful partnerships, joint ventures and debt purchases with a number of leading institutions including AREA Property Partners, Credit Suisse, G E Real Estate, Schroders and Threadneedle.

Most recent partnerships:

• Sovereign Land LP - a vehicle specialising in the acquisition of high growth UK shopping centres, retail parks, retail unit portfolios, blocks of shops and and high street infill development opportunities in the £50 million - £150 million range.
• Sovereign Ayr Central LP - established with AREA Property Partners to acquire Ayr Central Shopping Centre in Ayr and deliver a programme of asset management initiatives.
• Sovereign Trinity LP - established with AREA Property Partners and Shepherd Construction to acquire and complete the development of the £170m Trinity Walk shopping centre in Wakefield.
