  • joined Sovereign Land when it acquired Lionsgate Ltd in 1999 and became Sovereign Land’s Financial Controller in 2001 following the disposal of the Lionsgate assets.
  • now Financial Director of Sovereign Land (Management) Ltd, Jane is responsible for all financial aspects of the Group.
  • started career at computer manufacturer ICL in 1989 as a Junior Financial Analyst while studying for accountancy qualification
  • joined international chemical manufacturer, La Porte, in 1993 as Assistant Group Management Accountant - reporting on segment, geographical and trend analysis. Promoted to Financial Accountant responsible for consolidated accounts and advising the Board on material capital spend
  • recruited to Wickes Building Supplies In 1997 to improve Group reporting and control procedures, initially supporting the Financial Director in the disposal of the continental businesses, meeting with accountants and solicitors in Holland and Belgium to review closing accounts and negotiating contentious issues with the purchasers
  • in 1999 joined Lionsgate Limited, to provide financial management support to the Financial Controller and reporting to the principals, banks and major shareholder on the portfolio and financial position
